During the Nisqually Earthquake of 2001 the facade of the historic Icon Grill building was heavily damaged, leaving the structural integrity and exterior facade in question. Several analysis of structure and exterior facade were done and a repair was completed, unfortunately in 2010 the facade came down again. TWIST was hired by the building owner and worked closely with structural engineer and contractor to develop a restoration plan that keep the Icon Grill open and worked with the owners 3-5 year plan for re-development.
