TENANT IMPROVEMENT DESIGN:
2D & 3D
Standard TI drawings created with 2 dimensional plans, elevations and details are an area of expertise for TWIST, but the infusion of 3D drawings that TWIST creates at appropriate points in the design process brings significant added value.
Test fits are often the point at which open office and enclosed areas get defined and this is an ideal time to use a 3D rendering to show how volumes of space are going to be envisioned.
Another point at which 3D drawings can be useful is when workstation design begins. This can better illustrate varying heights of panels, types of storage, amount of knee space, etc. Of course proposed materials and colors can also be shown.
Though rendered 3D drawings are sometimes considered time consuming and expensive, TWIST finds that targeting the appropriate parts of a project that merit better understanding, 3-D drawings can actually speed up the process and often saves in cost.
